So, I went and did it. I created a blog. This will serve one major purpose. I want to list my journey as Jamie and I learn to live a life radically chasing after God, and his call on our lives. I will try to make it a point to not turn in into a gossip, or church bashing site but rather a place where I can document this journey I believe God to be calling me on. I am not sure where, how, when or who he is calling me to but I know that this passion has not died, it has not faltered. We serve a real God, a big God, a loving God and God is still in control of this broken, hurting, lonely world. Hopefully he will use the 2 of us to be a small piece in this Gigantic puzzle he is putting together. He deserves our best, not what is left of us after we pour ourselves into everything else, we as a couple are going to stand up and start pouring into him all we have. It may only be a small amount compared to what he is poured into us but I make a stand now and say he gets leftovers no more. From here on out, whatever he is telling us to do. He will get our best. He deserves it. I am going to include in each post a couple of ways anyone that reads this can be praying for us. I believe in the power of prayer and it would be awesome to have our brothers and sisters praying for us throughout this journey.
Prayers for 4/15/07~
* Guidance for this whole thing.
* God's revelation to be crystal clear for us
* That we will not seek out anything that would be comfortable for us, that it would be something God sized we cant explain
* Peace and understanding in the many things to consider as you start a journey like this
* Although the world we live in revolves around it, that our decision not be made on financial peace and security, that it be all about him putting us somewhere.
